The Late World is a newsletter about the creative process

At the moment it has new releases twice a week. Subscribe to get full access to the newsletter and website. Never miss an update.

The Late World is written by David Dault

I’m an Emmy-nominated writer and producer who lives with my family in Chicago. Over the years I have developed a couple television shows, and made several documentaries for PBS. I currently host a weekly radio show and help out with a bunch of podcasts. In my spare time I write and teach about religion and spirituality.

About the subscription, and whether to pay for it

All of the content is free, and will remain free. If you want regular ideas about the creative process, just sign up to the subscriber list, and we’re good.

If you value what I do, I welcome your support. Your $5 per month lets me know that my words are connecting with you in ways that you need. There is also a yearly subscription option of $45 (which amounts to a 25% discount off the monthly arrangement).

If you really dig it, there is an option to set your own comfort level of support. The suggestion in the box right now is $50, but you may set it to any amount you wish.

Beyond the content itself, I will be interacting in various ways with subscribers. I am socially awkward, so this is an evolving process. We’ll figure out what works best as we move forward.

As one might expect, that engagement will be more involved for those who have signed up at a monthly or yearly support level.

I am grateful for your interest, and I thank you. Welcome.
